The BCC Board is pleased to announce the arrival of our new Clubhouse resident caretaker, Tom Mitchell. Tom will be moving into the residence this week, along with his wife, Christine, and their daughter, Catherine. Tom has a long history of work crafting and retrofitting challenging building spaces which will serve the community and the Clubhouse well. Tom is also a musician and longtime music teacher, so we know he’ll love Bannockburn’s many musical traditions. The Board will host a proper community meet-and-greet with the family once the weather improves.

Enormous thanks to the members of the Clubhouse Management Advisory Committee — Barbara Hess, Jody Myers, Juliette Searight, Betsy McIntyre, Ross Hurt, and Cris Weals — for setting us on a course to hire a new resident caretaker. Over many months, this group invested countless hours in evaluating options for managing the Clubhouse, reviewing the scope of work required to operate the building, and assisting the Board of Directors in searching for a great candidate for the position. We should all be grateful for the efforts of these neighbors.
