Come to the Bannockburn Community Clubhouse Sunday afternoon to watch selected shorts from the DC Environmental Film Festival’s Climate Week Virtual Showcase. Six short films feature scientists studying a world of accelerating change. At the edge of uncertainty in a world of accelerating change, these scientists test resilience, navigating the environmental challenges of today. From studying the salt flats of the Atacama desert to find new antibiotics to showing how replanting seagrass can benefit marine ecosystems, these films capture what can happen when observation becomes action, and when the pursuit of change carries real consequences for both people and the planet.
