Climate change is already affecting our home landscapes. Changes in patterns of temperature and precipitation are making winters shorter, warmer and rainier. Spring and fall are often wetter, causing stormwater issues, while summers are much hotter with little additional rainfall.  These changes affect our yards and every living thing in them. Sometimes it seems like everything we try to grow is struggling while weeds and undesirable organisms are doing just great. How can we create and maintain successful, sustainable and healthful gardens and home landscapes in this new environment? What can we do to make our yards a haven for biodiversity and part of the climate solution rather than part of the problem? And how can we manage all that stormwater?  Come to hear some ideas and maybe share some of your own.
