3nd Annual Bannockburn Music Festival 2013

Add the Bannockburn Music Festival to your agenda this Saturday, October 5th!
We've got a great day planned for this Saturday, and we're very excited about the variety of music and ages at the festival this year...and most amazing, all with ties to our fair 'hood. Whitman High School phenoms Deez Notes helped launch the inaugural festival three years ago, demonstrated significant growth and polish last year, and will return with another much anticipated showcase set this year. Jazz diva Jeanine Greene, original singer songwriter Edward O'Connell will be making return appearances while the Starlight Orchestra (jazz) will make their festival debut. Food trucks and drinks will be on hand, and select vendors will be on hand with arts and crafts for sale. The organizers have asked the higher powers to provide us with another glorious autumn day, and proceeds support the Clubhouse maintenance fund. So plan to spend the afternoon and evening on the clubhouse lawn getting to know your neighbors, catching up with old friends, and enjoying and supporting the local talent and the community. Watch this page for updates and details. Or visit the 2013 Music Festival on Facebook

We'd also like to take a moment to thank our long list of generous sponsors, helping to make this year a success: Wild Tomato, Simon Says Yoga, Salon Jean and Day Spa, Bach To Rock, Irish Inn, Urban Land Company, RiverRx Pharmacy, Washington Conservatory, Ledo Pizza (River Rd) and Gouta Carter, Realtor.

Enjoy Rocklands BBQ for lunch, La Taco for dinner, and Irish Inn sandwiches in between. Or, stay all day and enjoy all three!

Shop at our vendor stands too: Arts of Asia, Peruvian Trends, Michelle Hamo Ceramics, Rockin' Lizard Soap, and Ted's Woodworking Shop. The Compost Crew will be offering demonstrations and discounts.

And do all of this a with nominal admission: $10/Adults, $5/Student
